Layout Update 26/07

 Work on retaining wall and tunnel portal at back of layout.

Started work on final part of plaster cloth landscaping. This section is being created to allow separation of the layout. Currently using electrical cable clips to hold in position, but considering adding an overhang using plyboard from underneath.

Couple of the tools I've been using recently for modelling:

• mini bench disc sander, handy for sanding back plastic models to ensure a straight edge for gluing; and
• dremel, with metal cutting disc, used for cutting track.

Bit more scenic base and a tunnel portal ready for install.

Booth for air brush work.  Have added a cheap "lazy susan" since making it to allow easy spinning of model being painted.

A number of structures have had their basic shape built and are ready for painting before finishing the details such as doors, windows, roof, etc.

Scenery shell for landscape moving forward.

Applied some other minor scenic details such as the soot effect on this tunnel.
